My inner girl scout made an appearance this past week.  C and I went to see the Black Crowes in Cooperstown, NY and after the concert, we camped out on the brewery grounds.  I had so much fun being out in nature!  It’s amazing how quiet it is out there among the trees and open sky.  I just loved it.

The second night of camping was a little further up the road at Glimmerglass State Park.  This scenery was even better than the first!

After a 4.5 hour scenic drive home and a hot shower (yes!), it was time for my cousin Seth’s fundraiser/art show, “High Seas, Open Roads“.  He convinced Bell Motorcycles to donate 13 helmets for various artists to decorate and auction off for charity.  The money was going to Waves for Water.  I thought it was such a creative idea!
